Student clubs who are conducting interdisciplinary innovative activities/projects will have the opportunity to apply for space in the SIC. The following student clubs have already been approved to have space in the SIC:
The SIC will open at the beginning of the spring 2020 semester.
The SIC will house hands-on equipment such as 3D printers, mills, lathes, band saws, grinders, welders, sheet metal benders/cutters, and numerous hand tools.
All ISU faculty, students, and staff have access to the SIC. Community collaborators and guests are also able to access the facility during normal business hours. After hour access is on an approval basis.
